Basic detailed Painting Steps

So now that you know quite a few of the more or less important things to know about, you may want to try and paint something - anything.

Maybe it would be a good idea if you start with something simple, since it may be very frustrating to try and paint something complex while you are still trying to get used to all the tools and the pen itself. So, perhaps set aside whatever grand masterpiece you have in your mind, and concentrate on something easy, something you know you will surely be able to paint and get a good result.

For ease of explaining the steps of the painting process, I will stick to the very basics: A cube, and a sphere. These two cover most of the things that are good to know about placing of brush strokes, light and shadow, as well as use of colour and how to blend it. And once you are fluent in these basics, it will be all the more easy for you to do other things.
